Kipper collaborated with Gary on the Machine & Soul album in 1992. Gary was suffering from writers block at the time, and Kipper's input was a great help (although a lot of fans may argue this point!). He also played guitar on the ensuing Dream Corrosion tour. Kipper returned to the studio with Gary for some of the Sacrifice sessions.
